What we get asked on the call.

With the answers we give on the phone, including the ones you might not want to hear.

Before you start

How does it get set up?

We do it. First a call to see what your dining room is like; then we build the plan with your tables and the booking page with your photos and your menu, and hand you the keys. We run the first service with you.

How it works, step by step.

Do we need to buy any hardware?

No. The floor app is designed for a tablet in landscape, and any current one will do. The restaurant dashboard runs in any browser. No terminal, no printer and nothing to install.

Can we bring across the bookings we already have?

Yes. Send us whatever you have, the booking book or a spreadsheet, and we put them in: day, time, party size, name and phone for each one. It doesn’t need to be in any particular format.

Every booking goes in under your own rules: if you are closed that day or a table is already taken, that one doesn’t go in and we tell you which and why, rather than hiding it. The ones brought across are marked, so you can see at a glance what was there before you started.

Can we see it working before we decide anything?

Yes, and that is how we always do it: we show it to you on the call, with a dining room like yours rather than some sample restaurant. Talk to sales.

Day to day

Does it need internet to work?

Yes. The tablet, the booking page and the dashboard look at the same database and refresh every few seconds, which is what keeps the floor plan and the booking list from ever contradicting each other. Without a connection, the tablet doesn’t update.

What language is it in?

Catalan, Spanish and English: the floor tablet, the guest’s booking page and the dashboard. Everyone sees it in their own language and can switch whenever they like. What you write (the menu, your description) appears exactly as you wrote it.

What if a waiter makes a mistake?

Every action on the floor can be undone for five minutes from the notice that appears when it is done. That is why no action asks for confirmation: undoing the odd mistake is faster than confirming every right move.

Does Resvity charge your guests anything?

No. No payments at the table, no POS, no deposits to book, no commission per cover. Resvity does bookings and the floor. Here is what it does do, and what it doesn’t, just as plainly.

Pricing, contract and data

How much does it cost?

Pro is €79 a month and Basic is €49, per restaurant, excluding VAT. Month to month there’s no minimum term. Neither plan charges commission per booking or per cover.

Launch offer: the first 5 restaurants to sign up for a monthly plan, across both plans, pay €59 for Pro and €39 for Basic for their first 4 months. New customers only, once per restaurant. 5 left.

Pay for the year upfront and you pay for ten months, with 2 free: €790 for Pro and €490 for Basic. You can also pay in twelve monthly instalments of €72.42 and €44.92, which come to €869.04 and €539.04 a year: 1 month free instead of 2. The full comparison is here.

Pro or Basic: which one is right for us?

If you want to ditch the notebook and let guests book for themselves, Basic does all of that. If you also want to fill more tables, make better use of the ones you have and bring guests back, go for Pro, which is what we recommend to most restaurants: table and guest analytics, a waiting list, loyalty, NFC cards and QR codes. The difference is €30 a month.

Can we pay for the year later?

Yes. The single yearly payment can be made when you sign or at 30, 60 or 90 days, and the plan works from day one. Each 30 days of waiting adds 1% to the amount: Pro goes from €790 to €797.90, €805.80, or €813.70, and Basic from €490 to €494.90, €499.80, or €504.70. The amount is fixed on the day you sign up.

Can we change plans later?

Yes. You can move from Basic to Pro whenever you like, from your dashboard, and you only pay the difference for the time left. Everything Pro shows you comes from the bookings you already have, so you don’t start from zero.

Is there a minimum term? What happens if we cancel?

It depends on what you chose. The monthly plan has no minimum term: you can leave whenever you like and the service runs to the end of the month you’ve paid for.

The yearly plan does commit you for a year, whether you pay it upfront or in twelve instalments. Paying in instalments doesn’t let you leave early: if you cancel halfway through, the year you’ve started is still paid in full and the service runs until it ends. What cancelling does is stop it renewing.

Either way, for thirty days afterwards you can ask for a copy of your data; after that it is deleted. The terms of service spell it all out.

Who owns the guests’ data?

The restaurant. Resvity processes it as a processor, only to run the service and following your instructions. We don’t sell it, don’t pass it on and don’t use it for anything else, and you can download all of it whenever you like. The privacy policy explains each piece of data and why it is there.

Yours isn’t here?

We’ll answer it on the phone. The hard questions are the ones that help us most.
